There are some events that entertain us, and then there are events that remind us of the power we have to change lives. On October 10, 2026, Against Abuse Inc. will bring the community together for the 21st Annual Seeds of Change Gala, an elegant evening dedicated to supporting survivors, strengthening families and helping build a safer community.
From 6 to 11 p.m., guests will gather at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort in Maricopa, Arizona, for an evening centered around one powerful message: meaningful change begins when a community decides to stand together. The Seeds of Change Gala is more than a night of celebration. It is an opportunity for individuals, businesses, community leaders and organizations to invest in programs that provide critical support to people affected by violence and abuse.
Against Abuse Inc. has been serving Pinal County since 1981, providing social services and support to individuals and families impacted by family dysfunction and violence. Today, the organization provides services addressing domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, sexual harassment, stalking and human trafficking. Its work includes confidential support and advocacy, supervised visitation services and other resources designed to help survivors move toward safety and stability.
That long history makes the 2026 gala especially significant. Twenty-one years of Seeds of Change represents more than an annual fundraiser—it represents decades of community involvement and a continuing commitment to making sure people who need help know that they are not alone.
For AMPS Magazine, this is the kind of community event worth putting in the spotlight. Our communities are strongest when businesses, families and organizations come together around causes that directly affect the quality of life for everyone. Supporting Against Abuse Inc. means helping provide resources that can make the difference between someone remaining trapped in an unsafe situation and having an opportunity to move forward.
The gala also provides businesses with an important opportunity to demonstrate community leadership. Sponsorship levels range from Bronze at $500 to Diamond Host Sponsor at $10,000, with Platinum, Gold and Silver opportunities available in between. Sponsorship benefits include promotional recognition, reserved seating and opportunities for companies to place their brands in front of an audience committed to supporting positive community change.
The event's theme, “Seeds of Change,” captures the heart of the evening. A seed represents possibility. With the right support, care and commitment, it can grow into something much larger. The same is true when a community invests in people. A donation today can help provide resources, encouragement and services that create lasting change tomorrow.
AMPS Magazine encourages individuals and businesses throughout Maricopa, Pinal County and surrounding communities to make plans now to attend, sponsor or contribute to this important event. Whether you purchase a seat, sponsor a table, donate or simply help spread the word, your participation becomes part of something larger.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 6–11 p.m. and join Against Abuse Inc. at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort for an evening of purpose, celebration and community.
Together, we can plant the seeds today for a safer, stronger and more hopeful tomorrow.
